I am writing about La donna del lago but it’s making my brain hurt so I’m listening to Juan Diego being all young and singing all high in harem pants.

Ah, but this is always relevant! I’ve always loved the little charade they do when Juan Diego’s pretending to *fix Rosina’s breathing* but he’s really just feeling her up. And I love that they always do it when they sing Barber together because, as Juan Diego said, they’ve made a coppia fissa, which basically means in Italian that they’re GOING STEADY AS AN OPERA COUPLE
